Herb Rosenberg is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Calgary where he taught comparative vertebrate anatomy, histology, vertebrate zoology, and human anatomy and physiology from 1969 to 2005. He served as chairman of the Division of Zoology and Associate Dean in the Faculty of Science on different occasions. His PhD studies were directed by Carl Gans at the University of Buffalo from 1961 to 1967.
Herb has published on the venom glands of elapid snakes, functional morphology of the feeding apparatus of Sphenodon, descriptive anatomical studies of different reptiles, and most recently on the cephalic morphology and digital histology of mouse-sized marsupials.
